Friendly Fox Art Show 2020

Parents, family, and friends. The Foxes worked hard these past few weeks, building, yarn-ing, painting, pressing, coloring, and reading about art.

There are still so many artists and techniques we didn’t get too. They are on my list to explore during the rest of our school year.

Dripping paint onto our styrofoam canvas. We call this “Ketchup and Mustard Pollock”

We learned that art can also be functional and inspirational such as sweaters, jewelry, and furniture. They adored this story. Ask them about the Archduke who stole the box of yarn.

And although we don’t have any sculptures as a finished project, we talked about how artists use different mediums to carve and sculpt images. We prefer play dough.
