We had another fun week of learning about and creating art inspired by different famous artists! We learned about Vincent Van Gogh, Andy Warhol, and also created some process art based on the book Ish by Peter H. Reynolds. The children played with play dough, sensory bins, and had fun building machines with our gears. We had fun at Ms. Marci’s music class and played outside a lot!
The art show will be happening this week on Thursday and Friday. You may come either day or both. Bring friends and family! It is a walk through art show starting at the 9 am drop off time and both the noon and three pm pick up times. An invitation will be coming home in your child’s cubby this week. Additionally, we would like to invite the children to dress up as their favorite artist, art supply, artwork, or color on Friday. They may dress up on Thursday as well, if they would like to! We will also be having show and tell this Friday!
