Hello Friendly Foxes!
Due to Presidents’ Day and a snow day it was a short week at preschool, but a sweet one. We spent the days wrapping up our Antarctic unit studies. We enjoyed learning about leopard seals and then made our own to play on shiny icebergs. We took a close look at Orca whales and then made her own Orca paper bag puppets. We then had a fun popcorn and pajama day on Friday complete with a free art creation table and a beanbag toss game. We introduced ou r new Zen loose play table and the children loved it. We got to play with the giant rolling water bin filled with Antarctic creatures. Our Penguins enjoyed catching some fish! We played some movement games and some fun math games, and some fun sensory play. We enjoyed story time with Bob as always. We even got to enjoy story time with Lauren!
This coming week we will be learning about owls of Virginia. We have some fun activities planned to go along with this unit. We are especially looking forward to some sunshine on the playground this week!
Looking ahead, please remember that spring break is coming up March 11 through the 15th.
See you soon!
