Hello Friendy Fox Families,
We had another fun week in the Friendly Fox classroom! We spent a lot of time observing and talking about our class caterpillars. One of them had gotten out of its home, but luckily we found it inside a chrysalis attached to a box! Lainey’s mom brought us another caterpillar, which has also gone into its chrysalis! We will be waiting and watching for them to come out as Monarch butterflies!
We have been talking about the life cycles of caterpillars and have been working on a class project displaying the process. You will be able to see the completed project this week in our classroom! We also focused a lot on patterns using various materials and art supplies to mimic the pattern of a caterpillar. We practiced singing our new song The Fuzzy Little Caterpillar, and once again loved our music class with Ms. Marci!
We have been loving our outside recesses and playing in the mud! If your child has rain boots or water shoes, he/she may leave them at school on the wire rack near the playground door to get into the mud puddles at recess. We appreciate you understanding that getting messy is part of learning and fun!
Thanks so much,
Hannah, Wynne, and MaryAnne 🙂
