Music week had us composing rhythms, singing new songs, and exploring more percussion instruments. Each day we focused on an instrument family in the morning (e.g., woodwind, brass, strings). Our Foxes enjoyed watching and listening to instrument demos during snack time. We especially liked excepts from this one, CLICK HERE.
Along with learning about the instruments of the orchestra we learned about the didjeridoo from Australia and very many different kinds of string and woodwind instruments from the Middle East and Asia.
