The Friendly Foxes had a fun and busy week finishing up their ocean unit! The children had fun learning about octopuses, anglerfish, and sea otters. They completed their beautiful ocean bulletin board! We learned that there is an otter at the Duck Pond at Virginia Tech, and the children made “otter spotters” so they could try to see it. The kids had fun making collaborative octopus art and learning about several of the animals that live in the deepest parts of the ocean. Wynne did such an amazing job with all of the units that she led, and I know that the children had a wonderful time and learned so much from her!
At the end of the week I returned from my maternity leave, and we all had so much fun playing together. It has been so great to be back at school, and I’m looking forward to all of the fun things to come in the rest of the year.
Thanks again to all of you for sharing your wonderful children with us.
