Fairy tales and leaf pile and pumpkin patches, oh my! That was theme of this last week here in the Kindergarten class. We read several fairy tales over the course of the week including Cinderella, the Emperor’s New Clothes, and the Little Mermaid. It was very interesting talking with the students about the stories and comparing the book with the movie.
The class also enjoyed lovely weather for our field trip to the pumpkin patch! It was wonderful to see so many parents and grandparents accompany us for this fun event.
This week also saw continued practice with sight-words, handwriting, and using the number line for addition. Additionally, the students have been working very hard to prepare for the art exhibit later this month and they are very excited to show off their hard work. On to space week next week!
