This week we also discussed what it means to be kind, and different ways that we can be kind to those around us. For social studies we discussed the Statue of Liberty and how many families came through Ellis Island while immigrating to the United States. For art we discussed the life and work of Mary Cassatt and had fun constructing our own “Girl in a Straw Hat”. Finally, for math we worked with matching and introduced number lines. Stay tuned for next week when we visit the pumpkin patch and enjoy fairy tale week! 
Kindergarten Super Stars Week 9
What a fun week in the Kindergarten class! This week was Dinosaur week, and the kids had a great time constructing a dinosaur, painting “dinosaur bones”, reading dinosaur stories, and drawing dinosaur x-rays.
