After weeks of hard work the class was finally able to unveil their lovely art creations for the art festival. This was the culmination of our class discussion about the art work of Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh, George Seurat, and others. It was impressive to watch the class work together on these pieces and they had fun even dressing up as artists for the exhibit!
In other news, the class enjoyed Family Week where they practiced learning their addresses, phone numbers, and parents names. This will take a little while to practice but it’s good information to know! They really enjoyed drawing family portraits and starting books about why they love their families. This week also saw the class learning about nouns and verbs and they got the chance to practice this information during story time by identifying various nouns and verbs that they heard in the story! Next we are bundling up for Winter and hibernation week.
