The Meow Cats spent this short week playing in the vet center, reading books about veterinarians, dogs, and cats. We will also talk about animal helpers in the wild. We still need to build our xray machine. If we get some snow on Sunday I’m going to save some and use it in some snow based process art projects and we will talk about animals in the polar regions.
Looking ahead we will celebrate Valentines Day at school. We do some ‘heart art” and talk about being a good friend. We’ll approach Valentines as something we can put in our mailbox. We’ll make our own mailbox during the week and provide paper, and envelopes for the Meow Cats who want to send mail. We’ll approach Valentines Day with one rule… no candy. Valentines for the class are completely optional, but if you chose to make or buy Valentines please provide one for each child. I’ll provide a list of first names in the Meow Cat’s class.
