The Children's Garden

Wisdom begins with wonder

Playing and Learning at Home :: April 24

Good morning friends. I almost didn’t even jump on here today, but I thought I’d check in. My daughter Ruby could not sleep last night. She started crying at ten and didn’t fall asleep until nearly two thirty.

Here are a few more fort ideas that I found. I love the stars and the birds on the first one. The tunnel is monumental, and the castle would be simple and fun.

Here’s an Earth Day song from Dan and Claudia. This song is in Spanish! Mariposa means butterfly.

Let’s make a special snack.

Would you like to make some Mariposa snacks too?

Here’s a butterfly fingerplay you can learn.

Here’s a story that the Honeybee’s loved last fall!

I’ll see you on Monday and we have a special request to learn about the human body.

Put your hands in the air Honeybees. Wherever you are we wish you well.
